Great way to meet and learn

The position and shape of the toes reveal our personality and how we deal with emotions. At a glance, you can tell if someone is bossy, or talkative, or tired and you can gain an insight into what's going on in their life.

Jane Sheehan offers foot-reading parties for groups of 8 people. You supply the drinks and nibbles, whilst she is in a separate room reading feet. It's great fun. She can usually hear the person re-enter the party and everyone is saying "What did she say? What did she say?!" It's an interesting alternative to a Tupperware Party!

You might aspire to having beautiful straight toes and delicate feet, but Jane finds the most interesting feet to read are quite the opposite!

Whilst Jane is based in Buckingham, she is often travelling to different parts of the UK on her seminar tour and would be willing to book parties in those areas to coincide with her tour dates. Check Jane's seminar pages to see when she will be in your area.

For corporate events, Jane has options for working with larger groups.

What they say about Jane's Foot Reading Parties

It was on the off chance that I was invited to a session of foot reading with Jane Sheehan at The Drawing Romm in Chesham. I laugh as I type that because I really don't believe in 'the off chance'! Life has a funny way of throwing up these opportunities and in this case I'm so pleased that I caught it with both hands.

I honestly didn't know what to expect. I imagined reflexology with a pertinent twist, so when Jane did nothing but hold & look at my feet I was a bit taken aback.

My husband always laughs at my toes, he calls them my 'dollymixtures' - short, stubby! Jane however smiled and with a tremendous warmth told me how she loved my feet for the story they told.

For the next twenty five minutes Jane highlighted parts of my character, how I approach friendships, how I approach work, noted things that are important to me & positive attributes.

To use battleship terms it was direct hit after direct hit! And all this in my little 'ol' dollymixtures!

It was warm, re-assuring, uplifting & bemusing. It was a nod to where I've been & affirmation as to where I'm going.

At the end of the session she invited me to pull a card from her pack on inspiration cards. One side a picture, one side an inspirational quote. "I find it's often the picture that speaks to the person more than the quote" she said. I pulled my card. A completely random choice with razor sharp message. On my card was a picture of a London sign post. The main focus of the sign post read "National Portrait Gallery".

I'm a portrait photographer and a week later, already inked in the diary as I sat there with Jane, was a date with a friend to go a see the Taylor Wessing Photographic Portrait Prize exhibition at the National Portrait Gallery.

In this moment I continue to walk my path with confidence one step at a time.

Thank you Jane"
